We first met with Melissa and Chris nearly 2 years before their wedding day and in that time, we got to know them pretty well. I believe that people's paths cross for a reason, and with Melissa and Chris, there is no doubt that we were meant to become friends...they hold a spacial place in my heart. Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful and Melissa was the one who designed and executed all of the details and design. Emily & Jonathan were married at a gorgeous private residence in Oakdale, Ca. It was a few houses down from where she grew up which made it the perfect place to have their wedding. Jonathan's Dad was the pastor who officiated their ceremony, which was another way they made their wedding so personal and special. Emily and Jonathan are honestly a perfect match for one another, and I'm a blessed girl to have gotten to know them better as a couple and to call them my friends!!

Last month, we were in Orange County and I photographed Matt & Morgan's engagement pictures at the San Juan Capistrano Mission. It's one of the only missions I had not yet visited...so it was such a delight to not only take this beautiful couples pictures, but also to see the beautiful Mission.

I adore Sallie and Anthony and loved getting to know them better over the course of the past year. I am blessed to call them friends. They're funny, sweet, and when you're around them, you just know that they are a perfect fit for one another. They were married on a beautiful fall day and Ryan and I were honored to both witness and photograph their wedding. Here are just a few of my many favorites from their wedding...

What are you up to this weekend? I have 3 shoots...then I'm off for the rest of the month! It's suppose to be stormy and rainy...but to be quite honest, I don't really trust the weatherman. Here's a little sneak peak from a wedding I shot this fall....aren't these colors so perfect for a fall wedding?!
