This is just my opinion, but I happen to love real-life newborn photos that depict life at this beautiful time. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of the popular newborn photography trends out there....but nothing pulls my heart strings like capturing the bonding that occurs when a newborn baby arrives. Here's a few favorites from my time spent with this lovely family.

This sweet angel was just a few days old when I photographed her...and let me tell you, she is perfect in every way. As I was editing these pictures, I thought a lot about the miracle of life...no matter how many times I try to wrap my head around the miracle that is a new life, it always astounds me. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images of little baby A and her sweet family :)

I'm having a hard time tonight finding the right words to describe to you how precious this family is....I loved photographing them, especially Baby B with his Great-Grandpa. Just look at that connection between them....melts my heart!!
I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from this shoot. As you've seen over the past couple weeks, I've been photographing a lot of newborns lately....it's been wonderful, each one of them is a little slice of heaven!!

Remember when I posted this sneak peek a couple weeks ago? Now I'd like to share a few more of my favorites.
This little love was fun to photograph....she has a very sweet and content personality. When she was awake, she would stare all around in awe of her new environment....no crying at all. Isn't she a doll?

Are you a night owl? I am...have been since I was little. I'm also convinced that there isn't anything I can do to change my ways. I've been lucky since I had kids because they both sleep in until at least 8am...but even that is early for me.
So here are a few random things I'd like to share...ready? Here we go...
1). I've been nominated in the KCRA A-List for Best Portrait Photographer in Sacramento. If you like my work I would SO love your vote! I'm kinda nervous about it...but these thing are silly, right? So I shouldn't be nervous?!? It really only takes a few minutes.

2.) Good ol' time-sucking facebook. If you're like me, you have a love/hate relationship with facebook. 3.) And last, but not least...here is a little sneak peak from my newborn shoot today! Isn't she a doll? The last 3 newborns I photographed were boys, so I was quite happy to get my pink-fix with this little babe. More coming soon.
