These are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of this sweet gal.  I first photographed her and her family last year and we immediately became friends....so when I heard she was expecting again and wanted maternity pictures (btw, our due dates are just about a week apart), I was delighted.  I posted a sneak peek from this session last week, and now here are a few more of my favorites.  And isn't her little guy just the cutest?

Sneak Peak

Here's a sneak peek from a maternity session I shot a couple weeks ago.....our due dates are just a few days apart which made photographing this beautiful mama that much more fun :)  I'll be posting more from this shoot next week.  I have another maternity shoot this weekend....there's something about pregnancy and spring time that go together so wonderfully, don't you think?

All pregnant women are beautiful

When I was around 9 years old, I remember my mom having a magnet on our refrigerator of a portrait of several pregnant women standing together, I think it was a magnet to support a local hospital, but I'm not really sure.  What I do remember however, is this was the first time I was drawn to the beauty that is a pregnant woman.  Sure, those 9 months aren't always full of of giggles and roses, but if you really stop and think about it, being pregnant is a miracle....in just a matter of seconds, a heart takes its first beat!  The other morning, I heard a quote on the radio that said, "If you want to change the world, it begins with being a parent."

I'm thankful for the pregnant women I've been able to photograph in the last couple of years....they are the definition of beauty.
