Hello everyone!  It's been a while since I popped in to my blog to say hello and give an update!  Yesterday was my first day back at work, and it felt nice to get back into a routine after a lovely month off.

I'm going to keep my words short right now, and instead, share quite a few of my favorite images from the mini-sessions I did this past fall.  I still have a few more mini-sessions to get ready and share here on the internet...but for now, I hope you enjoy these beautiful kids and families!

In a few minutes I'm heading down to the pool to enjoy the nice and breezy 75 degree weather (I hear it's 104 in Sacramento right now).  As I was driving around San Luis last night, I felt nostalgic as I showed my daughter the house we lived in for the first year and a half of her life...it's bittersweet!  Tonight we're hanging out near the beach, and while I didn't come to town to do any shoots, things fell in perfect place and I get to photograph some of my favorite people who are my neighbors back in Sac...so fun!!

So this is just a quick update to let you know that I will be slow in returning emails until I get back to Sac next week!  Have a lovely day, friends!!

Summer couldn't have started any better.....we celebrated the boy's first birthday and then we celebrated Ryan's birthday!!  The evenings are warm and breezy, and the BBQ is getting put to use....this time of year is my favorite!!  This weekend, I'll be shooting a wedding that I've been looking forward to all year...and then I'm off to San Luis for a mini vacation and to visit friends (and hopefully some time at the beach!)

Stay tuned....I've got some fun portrait sessions I'll be sharing over the next few weeks.  For now, here's a few snaps of my kids from this past week :)

Aw...I love your kids. They're so adorable. That picture of wide-eyed Luke drinking with a straw from the milk bottle is my favorite. Runner-up is Riley and Remy in the playhouse.

Happy Friday everyone!  What are you up to?  I'm photographing a newborn on Saturday and I couldn't imagine a better way to spend the weekend!  I also have loads upon loads of laundry to do...Ryan came home from work this afternoon and said he wanted to do it for me..isn't that sweet?  We'll see if he actually does it though *wink*

Here's a little sneak peak of a newborn I shot last week in San Francisco.  Have a great weekend!

Great photos Kelli Jane! I work with families to help make sure they are on track to meet their financial goals, and I am expanding my office. Do you know anyone I can help or anyone who is looking for part-time work?

There's really no other way to say this, than to just admit that I'm totally obsessed with my little boy :) I take pictures of him everyday, and Ryan and I usually argue over who gets to hold him.  When my little girl was a baby, I remember anxiously awaiting for her to meet the next developmental milestone (i.e crawling, walking), but now with my second baby, I don't want him to grow up and think it would be perfectly fine if he just stayed a little baby forever. *sigh*  As I get older, it becomes more of a reality to me that babies ARE miracles.

Oh, and the baby boy now shares a room with his sister.  So far so good :)

He looks like he always has a smile on his face. I feel the same way about O. I just want him to stay my baby as long as possible. But he has other plans and wants to keep up with his big brother.
